Our Business Counsel Service Plans are perfect for entrepreneurs and business owners that want to protect their business and their brand from legal pitfalls. With a monthly retainer you can stop worrying about the clock every time you call with a legal question, need a document review, or want me to write a cease and desist letter to someone infringing upon your brand. This is a way for a business to have a lawyer on their team without the cost of hiring a full-time lawyer in house. Although we offer flat-fee, hourly and other piecemeal legal services, members of my Business Counsel Full Service Plans get their legal needs addressed before a crisis hits because we are involved in their overall business strategy. In law the old axiom "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" applies double because the "cure" to an unwelcome lawsuit can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

How does the subscription billing work?
Subscription billing helps you avoid surprise bills. We invoice a flat monthly fee and complete the work within the projected timeline. Say goodbye to hourly billing! The monthly fee reserves time in our calendar for your legal needs so it is considered earned upon receipt and you aren't charged minute by minute for included items.
How soon will I be able to become a subscription client?
We accept a limited number of clients to our subscription legal services. If you are interested in seeing if we are a fit, please email or schedule a call to chat with a member of the team. If we are unable to accept you immediately, we will notify when we have additional openings for new subscription clients.
What if I need a customized subscription?
The subscriptions listed on this site can be modified to fit your situation. Let's chat about your particular needs.
What if I need additional services above what's included in the subscription?
If you have additional needs for services that fall outside of your subscription, you can add a short-term legal project for a flat fee. At any point during the engagement, you can upgrade your subscription to the next tier.
How long is the commitment?
All of our subscriptions are on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. If we find that you are not a fit for our firm we will cancel your subscription.
What if my needs change during the course of the subscription?
We proactively review your subscription usage and, if needed, address changes quarterly. If your needs increase or decrease, we will restructure the subscription to fit your personal needs, including suggesting returning to only flat-rate projects, when appropriate.
